Meet Jesi
Part farmer, part kitchen witch, full time mama, and all heart.
Jesi is the soul of Sunshine Homestead, where slow living, simple magic, and everyday nourishment come together. She grows herbs with intention, blends remedies with intuition, and creates space for others to reconnect with the land. Her days are a rhythm of tending gardens, stirring pots, raising babies, and honoring the wisdom passed down through generations. Whether she’s crafting tallow skincare, preparing seasonal farm goods, or hosting workshops that weave together herbalism, homemaking, and feminine rewilding, Jesi brings warmth and grounded, old-world magic into everything she does. Sunshine Homestead is more than a small farm — it’s a place where community, creativity, and care meet. Jesi’s passion is helping women slow down, nourish themselves, and rediscover the joy of handmade living through her blog, farm stand, workshops, and handcrafted goods.

coming home to what matters
Welcome to my new website, friend.
This space marks the beginning of a shift—one I’ve been quietly working toward for a long time…
For me, this season is about returning to the time-honored traditions that shaped my family for generations. We are third-generation cattle farmers, and the land has always been our teacher. Somewhere along the way, I realized that the wisdom I grew up with—rendering beef tallow, using whole plants, crafting simple remedies—wasn’t just “old-fashioned.” It was medicine. It was beauty. It was sustainability. And it was a way of living that made sense.
